Spiked Watermelon Balls

What you need:

* 1/4 watermelon small and ripe
* 1/3 c. water
* 1/2 c. light rum
* 1/3 c. sugar
* 1/3 c. fresh squeezed lime juice
* 1 tsp. grated lime peel

What to do:

1. Bring the water to a boil. Stir in sugar and simmer for 3 min. Add the rum and simmer for another 2 min. Remove from the heat and allow to cool somewhat before adding the lime juice and the grated lime peel.
2. Cut melon into balls with a melon baller. Pour the syrup over the fruit, mix gently, cover and chill for several hours before serving.
